These are 2 ideas I've had in my head since January and was hoping to do them before but life (well it has that nasty habit of getting in the way sometimes - lol) but anyway....they are 2 seperate events.
1. Scrap a Thon - a set day and for a block of time we scrap - every hour something different - a speed scrap, then a challenge, etc. you have an hour to complete. You can come and go as you please but when the time is up for the challenge it's closed and it's on to the next. Anyone up for it?
2. Our own version of a digi scrap race - not sure the way I'd want to run it yet but you'd pair up (or go alone if you wish) and every week you have to create with something different. And I'm thinking survivor style - that weeks project is put to a poll and the lowest poll count is out. Any thoughts on this I'd love to hear and once again who's up for it?
I think they both sound interesting. I've been wanting to do something similar to the first one, like a "crop". The paper scrapbooking board does this over an entire weekend, it's pretty neat the way they run it. My suggestion is we could wait until hosts are picked, and then suggest it to the hosts as ideas for the board...
I think they both sound good. I don't know how the first one would work for those of us who work, but I would definitely be up to the challenge! GREAT ideas!
For the second one, maybe instead of being out, we can get points for winning polls? the one with the most points at the end "wins"? Just an idea. I'd be in either way
