Do you scrap in date order or just do what inspires?

I normally try to go in order but when i have CT stuff to do sometimes i have to find a pic to go with the kit that does not fall into whatever time period i'm scrapping.

I don't scrap in order. I tend to scrap in the season I'm in, and if I run out of pictures then I'll go hunting around for other ones that I have kits for.

I look for a pic that matches my kit

I do that too, I get a kit and find pics to match.

I kind of go in date order - I try to scrap most of my pics close after taking them (mostly so I remember what I want to write in the journaling ) but I never get time scrap every picture taken in any given month, so when I come across a new idea that inspires, I'll go back and use pictures I didn't use the first time I scraped that time frame. I do try to make sure to get events (trips, holidays, birthdays, etc...) done in date order.
