I have totally been doing the template challenges the hard way. I just figured out how to make a template work in my program & it was totally east. What the heck took me so long? The other topic about templates was really making me think that their had to be an easier way. So BrownEyedMommy(Margaret) & me were trying with Adi's new freebie. I uploaded it like I would a photo & put them together. That was simple. Then I clicked each element & filled it with my own choice of paper or color....SO EASY! I was estactic to learn how to do it, but felt like an id**t because it took so long. LOL
What is something that when you learned it you felt sutpid because it was so easy?
LOL Don't feel bad, we've all felt that way before! I finally found out about clipping masks! Goodness, I had been laying the papers over the templates, selecting the template layer, inverting the selection, then deleting that part of the paper, then deleting the layer underneath. Now I just Ctrl-Alt-G and I'm done. I couldn't get over it lol. I just bought a Photoshop CS4 book and I'm excited to see what else I learn.

haha that's how I felt when linz told me I could change the distance between two lines of words and I realized I didn't have to do my journaling one measly line at a time! and that was like... 2 weeks ago, not when I was just starting out
Everyone has to start somewhere! We all learn things one thing at a time and for each of us we learn different things at different times. You're doing great! And way to go on taking the initiative to learn it!
Thanks Nicole (MommaDucks) for my new & awesome siggy.
