CatScrap*::*Actions/Presets/Styles*::*Creating Depth by Birgit & Ranie

Create realistic looking LOs with great depth! This Drop shadow tutorial will teach you how.

You will receive a document in pdf format containing a tutorial on adding shadows to objects in Adobe Photoshop. It is meant for digital scrapbookers and assumes you have basic knowledge of the Adobe Photoshop software. A version of Photoshop that allows you to add drop shadows as a Layer style is required. This tutorial is suited for both the beginner and advanced scrapbooker who wants to learn how to add or improve her drop shadows. This tutorial covers consistent lighting, the Layers palette and the drop shadow layer style (choice of Angle of light source, Distance and Size of drop shadow). It teaches you how to add a simple cast shadow. There are examples on how to add extra depth to your LO by dodging and burning. And there is a layout walk-through with all details on the drop shadows added.

"This tutorial does not teach you the right way to add shadows. It teaches you one way: our way."
-Birgit and Ranie.
Not a bad price since I saw one at Scrapbook Graphics yesterday that was $20 something.

Eh, I'm not all that impressed by the "examples" on their previews!!! There are just way to many free tutorials out there of better examples for me to pay someone!!!

I particularly like this one by Peppermint!!!

Shadow Files: The Basics

ETA: now if this was a layer style/action that I could use to create them with "one click" that's totally different....but to me it just sounds like a tutorial and as I said...there are too many free ones out there to be paying for one that doesn't "blow me away" with their preview!!
