Tell us what you picked! Why did you make these changes? (Or why don't you make any "green" changes?)

Share anything other things you do that aren't listed!

We don't really do all that much.
Use funny swirly bulb things
Use Energy Star appliances (they came with the house, except the washer and dryer, which we could only afford energy star with those cause they were on sale)
Recycle (since we don't use trash pick up, but take our garbage to the dump we have to separate everything into types or we can be fined $250)
Create compost
Buy recycled items
Carpool when possible. Walk when possible. (mostly it's carpool. walking isn't really all that possible here, but we do walk when going to places in town since we live a few streets from our tiny downtown, and we carpool when going into Memphis cause it's cheaper)
teach your children about "green living" (honestly the school teaches them more lol)

We do have tons of cloth grocery bags, but the kids mainly use them as sleepover bags, I never remember to grab them when we go to the grocery store.

Cloth diaper

For the most part, we just do what works for our family, because it's better for us and for the environment.

I found I'm much greener since we moved to the acreage last year and left the city--probably b/c we have to haul our garbage to the dump (too cheap for pick up!), and therefore I'm much better at composting and recycling. Though admittedly I do get lazy and start chucking things out.
I hate those twirly lightbulbs, they're terrible!
