Do you usually buy kits that are meant for one specific purpose? (Like a "first haircut" kit, or a "dance recital" kit?) Or do you tend to buy kits that are more generic/versatile, and then use them for multiple layouts?
Thank you to the SSMC makers for my beautiful siggies!
I will do both, but I generally can get more than one use out of a themed layout, too! I like to stretch kits to their maximum, even though I have 29827987 billion kits, I like to know that they're versatile, so really the main thing to me is that they have plenty of more versatile elements, usually.
I rarely buy kits anymore, as my ct kits fit most of my needs. The first kit I bought was a first haircut kit from Bella Gypsy kit, though. I only got it cuz it was $1 for the papers and $1 for the elements.
Mostly, I'll try not to buy a kit if I can't get at least a couple of layouts out of it.
