I'm gonna be a teensy eensy bit MIA for the next monthish or so. You see, our house is torn apart. We have no furniture upstairs because we are getting new wood floors in June, and we have to tear out the current carpet. We have a TON of work to do before the floors & kitchen cabinets can go in.
So, naturally, what does my husband do? He slips on the dock while getting off of our boat on Monday and breaks his ankle. So NOW. I am fully caring for two small children, working 28 hours per week, trying to arrange care for the boys when I work late 3 nights per week, trying to keep up with laundry/dishes/cleaning/etc, trying to make sure Jon doesn't injure himself further, and planning Matthew's birthday party for Saturday. Not to mention all of the remodel work that needs to get done and now we need to find help to get some of it done before the contractors start pouring in.
I am so so so so so very tired and it's only been 2 days. I'm not sure how I'll survive the next 6-8 weeks, but I'm gonna try.
Oh man, Sara, I am so sorry to hear about your husband. That's rough on him and rough on you. (And also rough on the kids, I'd imagine). Somehow you'll get through this, though! We'll still be here when things calm down.
How was Matthew's birthday party?
Thank you to the SSMC makers for my beautiful siggies!
