Hi, my name is Veronika, I'm 32, and I have PCOS. I'm pregnant with my second child. I was diagnosed with PCOS (I can't tell you how many doctors that took), about 6 years ago. I've read that PCOS is a disease you have your entire life, but honestly, I didn't notice it until I was about 24.
My son took 7 months of meticulous charting, 3 failed rounds of clomid, 1000mgs/day of Metformin, and 400mgs/day of Progesterone to conceive. #2 was a surprise (we weren't trying, but we weren't preventing).
I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
V. =)

Thank you! The saddest difficulty I had was after my son was born, I didn't produce milk. The lactation consultant told me that PCOS can really inhibit breastfeeding.

Well, the lactation consultant didn't say that everyone woman with PCOS couldn't, just that a lot of women with PCOS experience problems. =(

Congrats!!!!
You will love having them so close, it's interesting to see siblings so close in age interact. Oh and you will hear lots of "Are they twins" when there 2 and 3.

Hi!
I too struggled to get pregnant with our first, 3 years of trying undiagnosed, then 2 years of trying while on metformin. After 6 failed rounds of clomid I went on BCP's for a vacation. I stopped taking the pills and the next cycle got pregnant!
I got pregnant with our second as I was weaning my son, it was a bit of a surpirse since we were going to start really trying again the month after I found out I was pregnant LOL.
Welcome!
I am going to try to be a bit more active, I promise!

Congrats on your pregnancy. I wanna wish you the best.
As for nursing, Give it a whirl if you wanna. I had a hard time nursing DD but DS is doing great. The first six weeks are tuff for us PCOS'er. Its hard to tell our bodies that we need MILK but NURSE NURSE NURSE and drink water.... LOTS OF IT! I think our bodies finally understand.
GL!!!!
