Hello, I am new and here is my story

Hello everyone, my name is Jackie and I am 23 years old. I was diagnosed with pcos at age 11. I had to have emergency surgery at age 11 to have a cyst removed from my right ovary, the cyst was so large that they had to remove it vaginally . From age 11 to 22 (I just turned 23 2 days ago) I was on the pill to treat my PCOS. I have been married for just shy of a year now (my husband and I have been together for 8 years) well......I was having irregular periods with being on the pill, I found it odd because for the last 11 years of being on the pill my periods were pretty much regular. So after it was irregular for 1 month I went off the pill to try to straighten out my cycle. I was successfull I went 1 month without the pill and got my period.

Mean while my husband and I used no protection as we did when I was taking the pill. I figured with having the PCOS and being on the pill for the past 11 years that I would not get pregnant (and if I did boy, would we he happy!) so got my period with no pill...then I thought well lets not take the pill for another month and see if we can get any blessings.......well my next period never came

so I took the digital ept and sure enough...PREGNAT! Pure shock at first then....pure joy for my hubby it was pure joy right away! So I went to the Doctors sure enough I was pregnant. I am now 15 weeks 2 days! My doctor was able to find the heart beat the the first time trying! I had my first ultrasound to see hoe are far long I was and everything looks great! I am so happy! What a joy!

I found this community for last night and thought all of you gave GREAT advice and seemed so nice that I just had to join this nice group for ladies!
