Hi, I'm 26 weeks along. I was diagnosed with PCOS in February of this year after trying to have a period/get pregnant for just over a year. After 4 months on Met, a referral to an RE, an SA for dh, and an HSG for me.....we got pregnant in June. I'm grateful that it only took the Met to straighten things out for us.
I am not sure if my current OB knows that I have PCOS, depends on how closely he looked at my charts. I was about 14 weeks along when I switched OBs to someone who actually had a personality and wanted what was best for me and my baby.
I am being watched for GD at this point and it's being controlled with diet for now. WE have a tentative week for a scheduled c/s, but that can all change wtih a GD diagnosis I'm sure.
I wonder how much my PCOS plays into the GD, though. Or how much having taken Met played into a higher sugar level this time.
