I've seen posts, but none from lately. Just wondering if there were others with pcos and pg around.

Kristianna, you're so close! Not long before sweet babe is in your arms.
Kellilee...Welcome and congratulations! Nausea is a good sign!! I think fear of m/c is so normal. Praying you get through this first trimester quickly and without incident. When do you go for an u/s?

not sure when I'll get an u/s. Right now I'm still waiting for medicaid to kick in... frustrating, I'm gonna go talk to them in person tomorrow after my first midwife appt.
I've never had a m/c but my friend just had one a couple months ago and I've had a couple bits of spotting this week and that's making me nervous.
If I have more spotting I may just go to the hospital and try to get an u/s done and hope they'll let me wait to pay until medicaid starts.

Wow it's been a while since I posted here, I did when I just found out I was pregnant. I usually just stick around the Aug due date board. Anyways...I'm still preggo! I'm 19.5 weeks along now. Just found out the other day we're having a girl Yay!

Kellilee...definitely try to get into the ER if you can't get into the doctor sooner (if you're still spotting). If for nothing else, peace of mind. (((hugs))) Keep us posted.
Welcome back, Stephanie. I'm hoping we can get this board a little more active. I know when I dealt with the 13 years of infertility, if I had only known of women with PCOS that were conceiving, it would've really encouraged me. And being pg., a lot of the challenges and issues we face are certainly easier when we have others going through the same thing to encourage us. KWIM?

Depending on the state, Medicaid will usually go back the 3 months prior to approval and cover the bills. I know they do it here (TN) and in UT. If you think you're within 3 months of approval (which you darn well should be!) then it wouldn't hurt to pop into the ER. When they ask you about billing info, just tell them that you're awaiting Medicaid approval and they should hold the bill.
