Anyone else? I seem to have it way worse with my girls than I did with my son.

They say that girls cause more heartburn than boys... and that a lot of heartburn means a head-full of hair. Not sure how accurate that all is, though.

I'm having the heartburn like mad and I'm not near as far along as you! Heartburn and belching. >.< It's worse than when I have gallbladder attacks. I've been munching TUMS but try not to eat more than a couple a day. If I *have* to have another one later, I'll eat just one instead of 2.

I've gotten lucky, I've had heartburn only once so far the whole pregnancy. I have heard the whole thing about heartburn & babies with lots of hair. Haha, everyone in my family is born bald, so maybe there's some truth to it.

Hope you feel better!

I had it horribly during the first trimester. Onions, tomatoes, garlic, cheese, etc. Just about anything I ate gave me such bad heartburn and nothing I did helped. It has eased up since then, but I'm sort of expecting it to come back during the third trimester since so much else does. If it does mean a head full of hair that'd be great! DD was a little baldy. I really want to see if she'll have DH's curly hair without waiting for it to start coming in!

I don't know about the hair wive's tale. lol DD was pretty close to being a baldy until she was 1. DS on the other hand, had a full head of hair at birth and the heartburn wasn't bad with him. lol

That's how mine were. DD was bald for a LONG time. She grew some peach fuzz around six months, but didn't get any real hair until she was over a year old and it grew very slowly. DS had a full head of pitch black hair though. The nurses kept coming in to see him because none of them believed he had so much hair as a newborn. With DD I was eating tums for 9 months and with DS I didn't have heartburn. Go figure.
