Nothing majorly wrong happened, but I think my doctor was just having a tough day. She was as nice as ever, but seemed to forget about my situation. Kept reading my chart, asking questions, etc.
The Maternal Fetal Specialist had put some stuff in my ob chart about the Metformin...they ask me at every visit when I go to the MFM if I've been checking my blood sugar levels regularly. When I tell them that I don't have Gestational Diabetes (tested just fine), they always say, "But you're on Metformin" well umm YEAH...it's for the PCOS...but they can't seem to get beyond that. By the end of the visit, there's no mention of it, but then they ask me again at the next visit.
Well, the OB asked, "Did we up your Metformin or something during your son's pg?" "No"..."Then hmmm, I wonder why MFM wrote this.." (motioning to the chart) Then she just waves her hand like, "whatever". *rolls eyes*
She did mention that I'm showing to be borderline hydramnios (too much amniotic fluid). Of course I google it and become a little concerned. But I will be getting another u/s in 2 weeks and starting the NST's then, too.
All in all it wasn't a "bad" appt., just a bit frustrating.
