We finally get to go have our big ultrasound today! I'm drinking my required 32oz of water now and hoping I don't die from having to hold my pee for so long. 
The office we're going to gives you a CD with pictures on it if you want so I'll have PLENTY to share later.

We're back! Everything looked normal to my eyes but, of course, the radiologist has to look over all the shots and then my OB will go over it all with us at our next appointment (at the end of the month). The little one was SUPER squirrely! But we managed to get ONE shot to determine gender and though it's not 100% the tech was sure enough to let us know that she thinks it's a girl.

We'll get a more precise due date when we go back to the OB on the 31st. Other than that, she looks perfectly healthy and ACTIVE!

We've had names picked since before we even started trying over a year ago. She will be Annabelle Mae, which is a combination of various family names. She has informed us (through dreams) that she will go by Bella.

That looks like the first gender shot of my little girl and a later ultrasound confirmed there was no doubt about it. Congrats, mama! That's a beautiful name.

Beth, we've been registered for quite sometime on a few sites but no, we're not running out and buying anything. My baby brother had a daughter 3 1/2 years ago and she had a LOT of clothes that were either worn once or twice or not at all (some still with tags) so we got her hand-me-downs. Really, the only thing we're lacking is a travel system and a crib.
Between the hand-me-downs and a British grandmother that loves to knit away, we're totally covered on clothes and toys. We bought our first bag of diapers today to start stocking up.

Thanks, Ladies.
I can't believe how fast everything is moving, now. I keep wanting to pack our hospital bag even though I know it's WAAAAAY too early.  I'm trying to appease that feeling by working on my birth plan. It's never too early to be prepared, ya know?
