I went into the hospital Tuesday night to get induced and to get that cervix ripening drug. After my contractions started to get worse (omg, that was horrible) and I was still just dilated to 2cm they stopped the Pit and said just let my body do it's natural thing. They gave me some kind of pain meds while the contractions were pretty close together, haha yeah right, that didn't help at all. The nurse told me it would be a long time before anything would happen, so DH went home to take a quick shower. Not even 10 min after he left, I started having horrible contractions that just wouldn't go away. I'm talking about scream out they hurt so bad contractions. I remember a lot of people being in the room all of the sudden and then the nurse telling me I'm going in for a emergency c-section, that the baby needed to get out now. I remember getting wheeled out of the room and some older guy telling me to breathe into the mask, I remember feeling light headed and that was it. I wish I could've been awake for all that, but oh well. When I woke up DH was there, and I asked if he saw her. He said yeah, and she's got a lot of hair. I guess what happened was her heartbeat fell from the 140's to the 40's, not good! I ended up staying in the hospital a extra night, I was still bleeding alot thru my draining tube. Wow, that hurt coming out... really bad! Poor DH, he was probably freaked out when he came back to the hospital to find me not there in the room.

Kaitlyn Paige was born on the 12th at 7:03AM and she weighed 7lbs 3oz, 19.5 inches long. What's funny is I had a ultrasound the day before and she was suppose to be 8lbs 15oz. Yeah, way off! We're not sure where the hair comes from, lol everyone is bald when born in my family. She's adorable, and the breastfeeding is going good. I tried pumping tonight for the first time, and she took the bottle perfectly.

I’m sorry to hear that she crashed and you needed an emergency c-section, the same happened with DS (his HR fell into the 20s), so I know how scary that can be. I’m so happy to hear that mom and baby are doing well now!!! She is beautiful I cannot wait to have a newborn again.

im lurking!!! lol but omgosh she is sooo beautiful!!! I just love all her hair... I bet it was really scary everything that happend... but thank god you both made it out safe and sound... Congrats girl!
