to the PCOS pg board! It's really sinking in for us now, and after receiving the 2nd beta, I really feel excited!

For those who don't know me, I'm Becky (35), DH is Tony (35). We started our TTC journey in Dec 2007. I was dx'd with PCOS in July 08, did 4 unsuccessful rounds of Clomid and started working with a RE in Jan 09. I also started Met 1500mg extended release in Jan and it's been wonderful in regulating my cycles AND I was O'ing each cycle. The RE ordered a bunch of tests on both of us, and we were devastated to discover that DH is completely infertile. (Klinefelters which resulted in zero spermies), So we took several months off TTC to emotionally deal with this. Our decision was to continue TTC using donor sperm. This was our 2nd attempt of IUI using donors sperm, and we were finally successful! I'm currently on the Met, pretnatals (of course) and on estrogen & progesterone supplements. I'm not sure how long the estrogen & progesterone supplements will be continued, and I hope to get some news on that at my next doc appointment.

1st beta - 08/28 - 190
2nd beta - 08/31 - 478

I head back in tomorrow, 09/02, for a 3rd beta and will have an early u/s done the end of the following week.

I look forward to going thru my pg with you ladies, and hopefully I won't bug you too much being a 1st timer here.

Thanks, ladies! My 3rd beta was 896! I go in for an early u/s next Thursday, Sept 10th at 8:15 in the morning, and will be just under 6 weeks. I know that's super early, so not sure what I can see, but still exciting.
