Okay, let's see/hear those updates from our preggos, our new mamas, etc. How's everyone feeling? Latest appointments? How are the LO's growing? Pictures please!

AFM - I'm doing great. I'm a little over 12 weeks along, and have my NT scan tomorrow afternoon with the peri doc. Since things have been going so well, I've been downgraded to a lower high risk and go to monthly appts now with my regular OB. Yay!! I was getting tired of coordinating work around those appts every week/every other week. So tomorrow is with the peri and I see the regular OB on Nov 10th. My MIL is back home with us from Greece so we've been pretty busy getting her settled back in, and we're already thinking ahead to the holidays. They'll be here before too long.

I am 7 wks 5 days pregnant! This pregnancy is totally different from my last one, which is good. I'm still nervous and cautious even though I did see the heart beat last week. I saw the heart beat last time, and still landed myself in they 5%. I have an appointment with my OB on the 4th, and then I'm going to ask if I can have another appointment with her in two weeks, to try to hear the HB since it will probably be too early when I go on the 4th. I then have an appointment with my fertility dr. on the 3rd of December for another ultrasound. then I will feel ok, because I will be in the second trimester, and will be ready to tell the world!!

You know what's going on with me!

We actually have our appointment with the OB on Thursday. That'll be our last 2 weeks appointment. We'll be switching to weekly appointments after that. I'm also supposed to have my Group B Strep test and considering what happened yesterday, he'll probably go ahead and check my cervix (even though he usually doesn't start till 38 weeks). I'll update more then!

Marci, I'm so glad things are going better this time around! Fingers crossed for you.
And Yay for your step-down, Becky!

Marci & Becky - So glad everything is going good.

Bam - I hope your appt Thursday goes great!

I have my next OB appt on the 5th and my next peri appt on the 23rd to monitor Leela's growth. Her kicks are getting much stronger now. It's the most amazing feeling, I just LOVE it!!

I had my first Braxton Hicks contraction this weekend. I was at my braces appt and had to lay flat for quite awhile while they fixed some loose brackets. The entire time she was just going bonkers. I don't think Leela enjoyed me on my back for that long. Then it felt like she was curling up into a tight ball and pushing my stomach out. I felt down there and it was rock hard. I looked it up later online and found Braxton Hicks described as just that. I had no idea they could happen this early with your first. I guess a lot of baby activity can cause a contraction. It was very weird. Not painful, just a lot of tight pressure.

We've been working on clearing out our guest room so we can turn that into the nursery. We have to sell the large futon we have in there and figure out how to get it downstairs. No fun! My mom had my sister about 3 years ago so she's giving me tons of baby gear and clothes. Can't wait to load up on all that stuff and then finish my baby registry.

Guess that's about it from my end.

Things are going well here! I just had my 25 week appointment and everything looked good. I go for a 28 week appointment and have my GD testing thing-that should be interesting! We also get an u/s at my 28 week appointment-and I cannot wait! At 20 weeks, Alexandra's legs were already measuring almost 23 weeks-she might be tall like her daddy Despite my anterior placenta, I am feeling her move quite a bit. It's great-I feel like I'm really beginning to bond with her. Anyway-I just feel so blessed that things are ok and I'm praying that things stay great for us all!

Things are going great here! BP is up a little but doing okay - I can’t believe I’m already 30 weeks! We’re busy getting things ready in the nursery and getting the house squared away - Now I need to start preparing for the holidays. I passed my GD test so yay for that We had family/maternity photos done a little over a week ago, went on our mini family trip to the dells at the beginning of the month, some local fests and the pumpkin patch so its been a very busy October and I expect the next 2 months are just going to fly by. Lots to do but I’m getting really excited to meet Parker As far as I know he is growing okay - I’m growing, his HB sounds great, he is active. Things are just really great Caden gets SO excited every time he sees a baby - it is adorable. I can’t wait to see his reaction when he meets Parker the first time and actually gets to see and touch and kiss one up close. I’m sure the novelty will wear off quickly once he realizes the baby is here to stay and he has to share his momma though.

As for pics I updated the belly thread.. I do believe there are a lot of missing bellies from that thread ladies (*ahem* - all of you!!! )

Doing good here. just gearing up for the birth and getting everything ready (we're doing a homebirth).

I'll be 38 weeks tomorrow and have an appointment in the morning. Feeling lots of pressure so hopefully not too much longer!

Marci - I'm so glad this pregnancy is going so good for you!!

Bam - You are getting close! Can't wait to meet your LO!! I hope your celebration goes very well!!

Jen - I'm glad you're doing so well. And yay for Mom having all those goodies left over for you. Are you thinking of a particular theme for your nursery? I look forward to seeing pics when you get the nursery completed & all set up.

Amanda - I'm glad your 25 week appt went well & good luck for the 28 week & passing the GD test. When I seen the peri on Wednesday, she indicated she may test me earlier then normal for GD. I'm not looking forward to that drink. Yay for feeling Alexandra move so much. I can't wait to start feeling movements.

Carrie - wow - almost 30 weeks! It seems like just yesterday you got your BFP. Congrats on passing your GD test & I hope your BP remains good.

Kelli - wow - you only have 12 days left according to your ticker! I hope your appt went well this week & I can't wait to meet your LO.

AFM - I had my NT scan Wednesday afternoon, and we definitely have a stubborn LO. He was sleeping soundly, all curled up in a tight ball. It took the tech over 30 minutes of poking, prodding, shaking my tummy, having me cough, continuously switch sides, etc before he'd woke up briefly and stretched. She was able to get some quick measurements, and then he proceeded to turn his back to us and curl back up in a ball. We all just had to laugh. You could see the curve of his spinal cord when he flipped over and put his back to us. The heartrate was 154, and they were also able to see the nasal bone which they said was good. The doc was pleased with all the measurements, and said they'll be calling me in about a week with the results from scan & bloodwork. We did get a cute pic with the side profile, I really need to get a scanner as taking a pic just doesn't turn out as well. My next appt with my reg OB is Nov 10th and I'll be seeing this doc, the peri, on Dec 10th for b/w and Dec 11th for u/s. We should be clearly able to see the gender then too. Yay!!

Aww Becky what a cute LO you have there. Just sleeping away peacefully

As for the nursery, not sure on the furniture set yet but it will be white. DH and I had a hard time agreeing on a bedding set. We finally found one we really liked and it has a complete set of matching decor:
Pink and Purple Butterfly Collection Baby Bedding - 9pc Crib Set only $149.99

We're going very girly

Soooo cute!

Kaitlyn is already 2.5 months old! It's hard to believe, I was waiting so long before, it seemed like she was never coming out lol. She went to get her 2 month shots a few weeks ago, screamed bloody murder! She's perfectly healthy and everything is going good. She's 12lbs and 22.5 inches long. She's learned how to blow bubbles so she spends most of her days doing that lol. She's trying so hard to sit up, and gets mad when it doesn't happen. She's been sleeping alot lately, having a growth spurt going on. I need to go thru her baby clothes, sort out the next size up. Some of her 0-3 month clothes are starting to get snug...need to get out the 3-6 months. Wow she's growing too fast! She's so funny tho, she can look so innocent, but sometimes she gives these looks like...get away from me!! LOL whats funny is she does it with strangers, and they're like...wow baby with a attitude!

Recent pic:

With attitude:

...she did NOT like these rattle things that go on her wrists, haha. This is the same look she gives people sometimes.

Jen - that bedding set is so adorable!!! And nothing wrong with going girly. DH is convinced we're having a boy, so I haven't even brought up bedding ideas yet to him.

Stephanie - Kaitlyn is such a cutie!!! I just love seeing pics of her and that attitude is adorable.

Hi all! Caitie turns 5 months tomorrow. She is such a happy baby. We have been dealing with the flu in our house. She's been such a trooper (all my kids have). Here's a recent picture of her.
