Hi Ladies!!

So sorry this update has been so long overdue...Mari is already 3 weeks and 2 days old today! Hard to believe that so much time has gone by already! The beginning including my unexpected c-section was quite rough, but things are starting to "normalize" (whatever that means ) again...hope to post my birth story shortly

...I was also diagnosed with post-partum depression, which has made things even harder, but life is getting a bit better day by day...thankfully I have had family to help out these last few weeks, otherwise, I'm not sure how all three of us would've survived (DH, Mari & myself)!

Here are a few pictures of our little Mari Ella...born Oct 22, 7lbs 10oz, 20.5 inches long: (the first two were taken within hours of her birth and the last one was taken about a week ago)

Awww, she's a doll! Congratulations!! Can I come over and kiss those cheeks, please? I can't stand it!!!

Thanks for the update Tina, I'm sorry to hear things have been such a struggle... a c-section and PPD are two of my greatest fears about having a baby, you are so strong to be persevering through both! I hope your symptoms ease up on you soon so you can just enjoy life with your sweet little girl. She's absolutely adorable!
