Okay, let's see/hear those updates from our preggos, our new mamas, etc. How's everyone feeling? Latest appointments? How are the LO's growing? Pictures please!

AFM - I'm feeling pretty good. I've a little over 18 weeks, waiting impatiently to start feeling movements. I know, I'll be regretting wishing to feel those kicks by the time this pg gets further along. For now though, I can't wait. I have my regular monthly OB appt tomorrow and will do the 1 hour GD test. Friday is my anatomy scan with the peri!! We're hoping Smudge cooperates and we can see the gender.

So, how are the rest of you? Updates? Pics?

We're doing ok. Annabelle had her first appt. with the pediatrician last week. He said she's perfectly healthy but isn't gaining weight as much as he'd like. She's only gained about 3 oz since leaving the hospital. So we've quit feeding her on the strict schedule like we were and have started feeding on demand. Whenever she's hungry, she gets fed.

Unfortunately, she's been getting constipated lately so Doc told us to put a little bit of prune juice in her bottles or, every now and then, give her 1oz of water with a teaspoon of dark Karo syrup. So far, it's working.

As for me, I've been sick lately and have this cough that won't quit. I've taken everything I can think of and I'm still up all night coughing till I puke. I'm coughing so hard that I'm afraid I'm ripping my stitch. I just know it hurts. I go for my 6 week check up sometime in January.

Things are going well on my end. I'm 31.3 weeks pregnant and am looking forward to meeting this little girl! I had an u/s at 28 weeks and she was measuring in at 3 lbs and her legs are still long-at 28 weeks, they were measuring 31 weeks, 4 days. I think she was like in the 67th percentile for growth. I'm pretty sure Alex is still breech, so hopefully she moves in the next few weeks. I passed me GD test so that's a relief. I go next week for my 32nd week appointment and a non stress test. I'm praying that the rest of this pregnancy continues to be "uneventful"!

Things seem to be well over here at 27 weeks. We had our 2nd u/s with the Peri to check on Leela's cord and growth. It's confirmed that she does have a 2 vessel cord, but is still measuring right on track so we don't expect there to be any issues. I'll still keep seeing the Peri for u/s growth checkups.

I have my regular check up tomorrow and we'll be setting up the GD test. I'm supposed to be in the 25-30 lbs max weight gain category, but I've gained 30lbs. so far But I also haven't been allowed to exercise either due to my m/c history and bleeding I had early on in this PG.

I've been having a lot of BH contractions since around 18 or 19 weeks. Doc didn't seem worried as long as there wasn't a pattern or more than 5 an hour. I guess I'm just really sensitive. I think I'll ask her to start checking my cervix from here on out though.

Our nursery furniture was delivered along with the bedding and decor set. I can't wait to get started on her room. We've just about gotten it empty so by this weekend DH will work on putting the furniture together.

Here's an u/s photo from our last one at 25 weeks. She's peeking around the abdominal wall and she looks like she's smiling I can see chubby cheeks already

Hi girls! I’m 36 weeks and the clock is ticking - I’m getting really anxious and excited to hold my baby boy. My BP is creeping up so I need to take it easy and restrict myself and I’m really hoping it doesn’t get any higher - will prob have to do a 24 hr urine soon enough. We had an ultrasound today and everything looks perfect! Parker is already a good sized baby estimated at 7lbs, 1 oz! I know u/s can be off but I think that’s pretty close and what I was expecting based on how he feels and the fact that I’m already way bigger than I every was with Caden. I love my belly and pregnancy but I can’t wait to meet Parker. Also we were able to see a decent amount of hair on his little head which is just crazy to me since Caden was bald until 2. I’ve had a lot of heartburn with Parker and none with Caden so looks like that wives tale works with me. I just cannot wait to hold him. Weight, placenta, dip strip deal, everything looks perfect so now we just need to keep my BP in check a few more weeks. I’ve been trying to keep my blog better updated for anyone who cares and have my belly pics updated too.

I still need to scan pics from today - we got a lot but its hard to see much since Parker is getting so big now. He also likes to keep his hands up by his face and was playing with his toes most of the ultrasound

So happy to read the updates and how everyone is doing - I can’t wait for Friday, Becky!!!

I love reading all these updates!! And can't wait to meet all our LOs.

AFM - yesterday's appointment went well, but I had that horrible technician again for the bloodwork. She hurt me terribly again & I really thought I was going to pass out from the pain when she jabbed the needle in. She acts like it is my fault my veins are small and roll around frequently, and then she proceeds to tell me that I should just expect to fail this test. Since I already have insulin resistence issues, that this was a waste of time, and I should have just done the 3 hour test. I just wanted to smack her. Hopefully I'll get my results today & I pass, so she can just shut up about it. Grrrrrr - it still ticks me off a day later. On the good front though, we had no problem picking up Smudge's heartbeat immediately when they placed the doppler on my tummy and then the little brat started moving around. It took another 15 minutes to get him/her to stay put long enough to measure. This time the heartrate was 140. My bloodpressure was 120/70ish (can't remember exact numbers), but it's staying consistent. Prior to pg, I was always 110/70ish, now the top number is slightly higher but the docs aren't concerned. I gained 3 pounds since November's appointment, which makes this 4 pounds total for the pg. I guess that's not too bad, and again the docs didn't seem concerned or say anything really about it. In the beginning, they'd said they didn't want me gaining that much, but didn't set specific limits.

After the appointment, we went to see the Zoo Lights with a coworker - this is where they decorate the zoo with Christmas lights. That was nice & alot of fun. Thankfully the rain held off until we were finished and heading home.

And now, I patiently wait for Friday, until the anatomy scan. Oh, who am I kidding, I'm not being patient here. I want Friday to be here NOW!!!!

Now, now. Veins don't role, they're simply insecure. At least that's what they tell me.

Sorry for being late on this. Things are going great for us. Elizabeth is growing like a little weed. She'll be 4 months old on the 17th and has been wearing 6 month clothes for a couple of weeks now. She's very active and just so sweet. She had some horrible gas/fussiness caused by her formula so we had to switch to a sensitive which caused constipation. Nothing helped for more than a day or two so we switched to soy and that made it so much worse she's now back on the original with the horrible gas and fussiness. The poor girl can't win for losing in that department. Otherwise everything is great.

As far as I go my baby fever has officially expired, but that may have something to do with being almost a week late. I'm buying a test tomorrow, but my OPKs (I had some left over from TTC Elizabeth) are positive and darker by the day so at this point there's a good chance I'll be a regular in here again.

Hi ladies!

Mari will be 7 weeks tomorrow and I just FINALLY posted her birthstory...so if you're interested...go into the birth & success stories section to read it

Things are going pretty well here, I thought she was catching a cold, so I took her to the pediatrician yesterday and they weighed her at 10lbs 7oz! I have never felt more proud in my life since I am breastfeeding her. I have been so grateful for the fact that I am able to breastfeed her, knowing full well that many women with PCOS have issues with milk supply (several of my friends IRL with PCOS weren't able to BF and I was sooo worried about this during my pregnancy).

Overall, she is a really good baby, but just LOVES to be held and doesn't always like her swing or bouncer, so that was definitely a struggle for us at first, but now we've just kind of learned to do many things with one free hand/arm

I return to work on Dec 28th and I am absolutely dreading it. Right now we're really struggling with daycare/childcare decisions. I so wish I could be a SAHM, but that's just not really feasible for us right now

Aww I love updates! I'm sooo getting baby fever again. Before I was dead set on not having another one anytime soon.

Kaitlyn is growing way too fast, she'll be 4 months old in 2 days. She's holding her own bottle, little miss independent! Talking, growling, grunting lol, she's going to be a handful when she's older. She's smart and chatty! Here's a pic from last month.

I am very late on this, I will be 16 weeks on Christmas Eve, and I am scared to death, as I just finished with the Met and finished with the progesterone about two weeks ago.

These updates are all wonderful!!! And I'm loving the pics of the LOs! So adorable.

Anna - It's hard to believe Elizabeth is 4 months. Wow! Time does fly. Congrats again for your BFP!!!

Tina - Mari is growing so fast!! And she looks so cute in that dress. Yay for her weight gain & being able to breastfeed. I'm hoping to BF and need to sign up for some classes at the hospital. They have a breastfeeding one as well they offer.

Marci - I was so nervous to when I weaned off the progesterone, estrogen & Met. Everything has been great and I have to admit it is so nice to not worry about taking the meds at their appropriate times and only have the prenatal & iron to take now. When do you see the doc again? Hearing the heartbeat, reassured me tremendously those first few weeks after weaning off the meds.

Kelli - congrats!!!! I'm so happy you & Kya are doing well and you were able to have your home birth. Did you post your birth story?

AFM - nothing much to report. I'd did a separate post that we're having a little boy. He wasn't shy during that u/s and there was no doubt of his gender. DH & I are so thrilled!!! I've been fighting a cold for the past week and been busy getting ready for the holidays and here at work. I hope things settle down soon and I can get some rest. We're heading up to Ohio for Christmas (leaving Christmas Eve) to spend with MIL & BIL and his family. I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season & can't wait to see pics!!

Becky - Congrats on the boy...I see the dr. tomorrow morning, so I am praying my head off..and I'm hoping that after that, I will feel better, because have been off the meds, so everything must be ok after that. I really can't wait to feel movement. I may have already, but I can't be sure...just one day, there will be a huge kick and I will KNOW it's baby.

And now, I'm trying to figure out why I'm crying at Juno as she is giving birth.

I just happened to wander by and thought I would post an update on me. I'm 34 weeks and it's all going by so quickly. So far everything is great. I passed my GD test with flying colors. I haven't had any problems with blood pressure or anything. I am taking the Bradley classes and focusing really hard on eating all my protein so that I stay clear of GD and pre-eclampsia, which seems to be working.

We are planning on a completely natural birth with no drugs and medications and I honestly can tell that I'm super excited about it and can't wait!!!! Not to mention, I can't wait to meet him either.

It's so exciting to read about everyone else's updates. GOOD LUCK everyone!!!

It makes me worry that much less about when its finally my turn... though I know I will still be a wreck, its nice to see that most of the time it really IS okay!!

We are so close to meeting Parker and then next up Mr. Noah and Miss Alexis!!!!!! Who will be first?? Then before we know it, Leela Anne will be joining the crew as well. for the PCOS babies!!!!!! I LOVE IT!!!!!

I think it's time for another update ladies Let's hear em'.

As for me things have been moving along. Lot's of aches and pains though and of course our lovely trip to L&D the other night. I've been having a ton of BH since 19 or so weeks. Never any pattern, but I could have a lot in 1 hour and then none for hours and hours. So Monday afternoon I noticed I was feeling them a lot more than usual. I'm pretty good at drinking plenty of water but decided to drink more anyway. Just made my bladder more full which caused more contractions. I started timing them in the evening and I was getting them every 10-15 minutes so I decided to go to bed and see if laying down helped. Nope, they started getting to 2-8 minutes apart. So off to L&D we went at 1am. While there they were starting to get a little painful. The nurse checked my cervix, it was closed, but she said I was thinning out and in the beginning stages of preterm. So they gave me terbutaline and thankfully it stopped them right away. Terrible side effects though, my heart was racing and I was so jittery and shaky I could barley hold my cup of water. I stayed till 3am and they felt I was okay to leave. Poor DH was trying to make me feel good but I could tell he was worried.

I guess since the doc put me on a stricter diet Leela decided she didn't want to hang around anymore

The contractions stopped for the rest of the night but started back up in the morning. They are not enough to be worrisome now but I'm definitely having more than I normally was before. Mostly just the hardening, no pain.

Other than that we've been working on the nursery and I have 1 shower this weekend and a 2nd one the following weekend. Thank goodness because it's time to get totally prepared. She may come early.

How's everyone else doing??

Jen - That must have been scary! I'm glad they were able to stop the preterm and I hope your LO stays in for a bit longer, at least a few more weeks.

AFM - nothing much to report. I'm feeling pretty good, thankfully the heartburn/reflux has eased alot since Mark turned and is now head down. He's moving around lots these days, which is so sweet at the moment. I'm sure once he's bigger, and those kicks start hitting organs & stuff, I'll feel differently. Overall though, I'm loving every part of being pg!!! My next appts are on Feb 12th with both the peri (for a growth scan u/s) and the reg OB. I'll be just under 28 weeks and will have the 1 hour GD test again. I passed it earlier with no problems in early December, and I'm hoping for the same great results this time. My OB said that after the Feb 12th appt, I'll be going in every 2 weeks instead of monthly. Time keeps flying by and we've not even started preparing much of anything yet for little Mark. Guess we need to start getting busy.
