How is everybody doing? How are the pregnant ladies and the lovely little babies of the PCOS board? We haven't had any updates in ages so get typing!

I'm still here, but haven't had much of a chance to post lately. Work is super crazy for me right now & heading into the home stretch of this pg too. Little Mark is doing great, and moving lots.

Unfortunately for me though, I have developed gestational diabetes. We're monitoring blood sugar levels and made a few diet changes for now. I see the peri back on March 30th, so we'll see if she makes any additional changes at that time. I see my regular OB every 2 weeks for another couple of visits and then go to weekly. Time seems to be flying by!!!

Lots of kicking and things going on in there, big ultrasound coming up in just over 2 weeks, and happy to almost be at the half way point! Just over a week until we're on the "other" side of 20 weeks

Hope all the other preggos are doing well!

Becky ~ I'm sorry about the GD. Hopefully you can continue to manage it with diet so you don't need insulin or anything.

Cheryl ~ Are you going to find out what you're having?

Hey Ladies!

I'm doing well over here too. I expect to do the GD test in a few weeks....fingers crossed it's OK but you all know about our higher chances for GD with PCOS.

We are having a boy and couldn't be happier. Little Emmett is kicking me a lot. We also made our first baby purchase the other day and bought a car seat. So I think I'm beginning to accept we will meet this little man.

Congrats on your little boy! I hope you pass the GTT. Watch what you eat in the days leading up to it. I always fail and finally figured out it's because I'd have pizza or something high carb a couple days before that would be a rare treat. The rare treats were forcing me to do monitoring and the 3 hour GTT. No pizza this time!

We're doing good! Annabelle has learned to roll over and is sitting up with a bit of support. She's also started reaching for her bottle and we just moved her into her crib in the nursery.

She's gotten over her colic and icky tummy just dealing with the teething but it's not so bad lately. a few clickable pics below:

I don't know if I ever posted here but I failed my 1 hour GTT with a 160 on a scale of 130-200. Not as bad as I thought it would be..pretty much in the middle and I have a feeling my 3 hour is going to be borderline because I'm already borderline diabetic. My 20 week ultrasound was perfect and my only problem is treating myself to pizza or ice cream..usually only on the weekends

. I have an Ob appointment Wednesday and I'm sure to get in trouble for not getting the 3 hour done yet.

Bammers ~ Does she have any teeth yet or are they all still cutting?

Ang ~ I'm sorry you failed the 1 hour. Definitely don't eat a lot of carbs in the days leading up to the 3 hour or it could screw with the results. Let us know how it goes!

They're still cutting, slowly. But we found some awesome teething tablet for when they really bother her. We've gotten her a couple teething rings to nom on.

im 7 weeks and feeling strange. no ms really which makes me so nervoussss.

but i do have a cold. yuck

Are they going to do a u/s at your first appointment? Don't worry about not having any m/s at this point. It may not kick in for a few weeks yet and one woman in my DDC didn't start getting it until she hit the second trimester. It's one of the more obvious signs, but not one I'd miss!
