I have PCOS. For the last 10 years or so. I wasnt trying to get pregnant. They told me I wouldnt ever get pregnant unless I went thru fertility treatments. It happened, though. Now I'm really scared. What if I have a girl and she gets this awful thing?

Sorry you are leaving so soon, the main ttc board gets more action than the sub-forums.

I'd find another doctor. I have pcos and 2 beautiful kids, PCOS isn't a curse, it is just another obstacle.

I desperately want a daughter, and if I am blessed with one, and I suspect she may have PCOS, at least I am more informed than my mom was, and I will make sure we get to the bottom of things.
