Hey ladies, I'm new to this forum thing. I wanted to say hey and see if I could join the group. Looking for support (hubby's not sure how to give it). I am 5 weeks pregnant, have PCOS and this is our third try for a baby. The first two ended in miscarriages, at 4 weeks and at 7 weeks. Progesterone was low so the DR put me on Prometrium for this preg and so far everything is ok. I have an U/S appt. on Monday 5/14/07 to make sure everything is ok. I'm so scared and anxious and excited and nervous and everything in between. My last HCG (today) was 2200 and my prog. last Saturday was 18.6 Anyone else have problems like me? Thanks!

Congrats on the BFP, you are already a step ahead of most of those trying. And yes many share your issues, but the best advice here has been to just enjoy being pregnant and dont stress too much. The doctors seems to have your pregnancy under control, the best thing you can do is take care of yourself.

Welcome and Congrats!!!!

Welcome and Congratulations!!

I'm on progesterone as well. My doctor doesn't like the progesterone tests because he says that the numbers can vary wildly from one day to the next, so he put me on it just to be safe.

I know how you feel. Even though I've had two ultrasounds and things couldn't look better, sometimes I find it hard not to worry about miscarrying. Each week it gets easier to believe that things are going to turn out alright though.

I have a co-worker who lost two pregnancies. Once the doctors found out it was due to low progesterone, she started the shots and went on to have a perfectly healthy baby.

Congratulations on your BFP ! Welcome
My doctor had put me on progesterone for 15 weeks. 250mg shot every week and 400mg vag tab twice a day. Since your doc has given you progesterone there is exactly nothing for you to worry except to take good care of yourself and your li'l bean.
