Well, my u/s didn't go as I had hoped. I went in for the level 2 and they looked around for awhile, I became worried when I didn't see anything and she kept looking asking if I'd had my levels checked, and saying she "couldn't find my uterus". She went out to get the dr. and I knew we were in for bad news. He came in a poked around and was concerned looking, but again I didn't see a baby. He got some measurements and then finished and said that there's a sac which indicates a pregnancy occured, however the sac had some debris, but no fetal pole or heart beat and for the size of the sac he would expect a hb and fetal pole. They want me to have my levels checked and then repeat u/s in a week. He said that his gut feeling however is that it's not a viable pregnancy and we will decide on a course of action after the next u/s.
I am just so numb, devastated, confused and shocked. I never ever thought this would happen to me. I won't be around unless things take a miraculous turn. Thanks for everything ladies and I hope you all have a wonderful, healthy pregnancy.

Oh, I am so, so sorry, sweetie. But, defintely get a second opinion. I had a similar situation when I went to the ER at around 5 or 6 weeks with my last pregnancy last year when I had a bleeding scare. They took blood tests and all indicated a pregnancy, but the u/s said there was a sac, but no visible baby or h/b. I just knew in my heart that there was a baby in there, though the ER doc wanted me to schedule a D&C within a week's time. I wanted a second opinion, so I asked to see another doc in the practice, and sure enough, 2 weeks later, they saw a little jelly bean, sac, and h/b. Don't give up hope just yet. Based on my measurements and HCG levels at the time this happened to me over a year ago, the ER doc said there should have been a visible fetal pole, but I didn't listen to him. I knew better. Big hugs for you and I will keep you in my prayers. I hope that little peanut is just in there hiding safe and sound.

Thanks ladies! We go in today to discuss things with my OB. I am going to follow up at a different hospital in a week. The OB made it sound pretty grim though. That they only do another u/s to see if things are passing on their own and hcg b/w to see if your levels are going down. I am still in disbelief which will only hurt me more. I just cannot understand this.
