Ashlyn weighs 10lbs 12 oz and is 23 inches long. She is in the 75th percentile for height and 50th for weight. I bawled when she got her shots...it was horrible to watch, but my Mom is watching her this week and she called and said she fed her and she is now sleeping so good, so that is good!

But, Ashlyn has torticollis. I don't know if I ever mentioned in my birth story, but Ashlyn was born with her right arm up by her head so I had to push out her head AND her hand/arm at the same time. Most likely she had that right arm up during most of the pg, but because she favored the right side so much in the womb, she now continues to favor that side, which has made her muscles on her left side really tight so she now has to go to p.t. to treat this. I have several different tricks we have to do at home too to help with this. I go on Thurs with her. And the doc thinks that is why she hates tummy time so much, because it hurts her!

I will let ya know how it goes! So...other than me bawling my eyes out when she got her shots, all is good!!

ETA: I just noticed when I posted this, if you look at my siggie, in all the pictures she favors her right side....crazy how I notice that now! LOL!

First I know you are worried however rest assure anything found in babies so young is reversible. WIth a little work I'm sure she will be moving around before you know it and you wont be able to keep up. God bless her, I hope she does well.

Second, that is great growth for her....congrats! Shots are the worst, but just look at it as doing soething good for her. Trust me they forget way before we do. She doesnt even think about them, you are the scared one, LOL. Welcome to motherhood
