I am now 7 weeks and 4 days pregnant.

I am thrilled, don't get me wrong BUT

I got pregnant with my first on NO MEDS and my second with NO MEDS.

This just increases my fear of miscarriage. I am still having a cramping, breast soreness and such but I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop.

I know I should relax and be happy but I feel like this is just all going to fall apart and my son is going to be disappointed that he doesn't get a little brother or sister. (I had to tell him because no one would watch him for my Doctor's appointment.

Do you have a greater risk of miscarrige with PCOS at different stages?

I keep thinking every day is a good day, but today I am very crampy and scared.

Celeste

To be honest I was scared myself, DH is my rock. He wouldnt allow me to think that way for a few reasons. 1. our son! like you we had a successful pregnancy no reason to stress myself 2. Stress would induce things to go wrong if that was my focus.

Good luck to you, and I pray you can enjoy and relax cause this isnt something you want to stress over. It's a gift ENJOY!

I can't believe it. You sound just like me. I woke up this morning with quite a bit of cramping and thought the same as you. DH is a rock for me, but I am so nervous. I just have to keep reminding myself that the doctor and I did everything we could to make sure that this pregnancy is a healthy one. I didn't use meds with DD, but did with this one. I will be six weeks tomorrow or Tues. I still don't know how to figure those dpo's. LOL Let's just pray for each other and do like FGoumaa said. JUST RELAX! I'm going to start chanting that now. LOL

I am so glad I just joined and read this.

I found out last week friday that I am pregnant. At first I was over the moon!!! We couldn't believe it since we have been ttc for a while (with PCOS) and I was told I would need clomid but it seems it happened naturally. DH & I were walking on air.

Now I feel the doubt set in, are the cramps normal? What if what if? It bothers me a lot that I can't just trust and let go. I had a "blighted ovum" in January and that also left me a nervous wreck. It is in God's hands now and even though I am DYING to have a baby of my own, His timing must be perfect.

To all the ladies here with PCOS, you are not alone and miracles do happen. I hope we can all learn to relax SOON!!

Hi, i have pocs and im now 15 weeks pregnant. I had cramping for at least the first 12 weeks, you cant help but worry i know but try not too. I had 3 children before i was diagnosed with pocs and i had the same cramping with all of them, i think peoples bodies react in different ways to being pregnant. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy x

I didnt know PCOS can increase your chances of a miscarriage.....I just thought it made it very very difficult to get pregnant with no meds. I didnt take any. Im 22 weeks now so I guess that means I'm safe? I stay relaxed about my pregnancy and havent had any bleeding with cramps, so I guess thats normal? I also had constant cramps till about 12 weeks with cramping on and off that was nothing like the first 12 weeks.
