When my doctor called and told me that im pregnant she told me that my number was 150, i assume that is like a beta number. and they said that i needed to do another test to see if they were doubling.. which is ok but then they started talking about if they were too low then i might lose the baby.. well what im wondering is could there have been something in my first test to indicate a problem or are they just being careful because its been so hard to conceive? I am trying to stay calm and just hope for the best.. any input would be greatly appreciated..

I think they are just being cautious. It is your beta number and they check it to make sure your pg will endure. Your numbers should double in 24-48 hrs. I will keep my fingers crossed they do! Keep us posted! :hugs:

I was taking progesterone & I am still on it until week 12, just to be cautious. I think when you have trouble they try to do everything they can to keep the pregnancy. Congratulations & Good luck!!!!

CONGRATS HUN! Welcome to the PREGGO WITH PCOS board! If you just found out your preggo, your numbers should be in the 150 area. I cant wait to see them numbers double!

I think my first level at 4w something days was 133 and then it doubled and doubled ... Now I have a little man! Good Luck to you...

My numbers didn't quiet double one time and i was freaked out and my progesterone was low too. I took the progeterone til 12 weeks and now i am 22 weeks and here is lil breeanna

OH thats great.. the closer it gets to finding out my results the more at ease i feel.. im sure everythings fine.. and i cant wait to see pictures of your cutie in 18 weeks.. and by the way i will update as soon as i know more.. thanks you all are great
