I don't make resolutions....

I just try and remind myself that no matter what, life is short and I need to appreciate every moment I have with those I love because we just never know when they may be gone. It hurts my heart to think of anyone ever not knowing how much I love them.

That is exactly what i think too!!! It almost made me cry reading it....hormones! I usually try and make just one resolution that is practical, like finish my home improvement projects I have already started. However this year my resolution is to manage my finances better.

I usually don't make new years resolutions, but decided this year there were two things I wanted to work on: 1. make new friends and maintain friendships - most of my friends live out of state so I need more people to hang out with closer by; 2. alow myself to relax and enjoy life - I have been pushing myself to get everything accomplished (start a business, have a baby, get financially stable, etc...) that I have forgotten how to relax and enjoy things. So they are my profound realizations as the year changed yet again and I really hope I keep them!
