DH and I are getting ready to leave for NYC on friday (it's about a three hour drive). I had not thought anything about this trip (we go every year for a trade show for our business) but now I am getting a little worried about traveling. I have been achy and I know it's normal, but I am worried about being away from home if something would go wrong. Has anyone else traveled during their pregnancy?

You should be fine. Have a great time and enjoy yourself.

Just make sure you keep up your fluids and keep fed.

I have traveled during all my pregnancies & have been just great. You are at the perfect time to travel! Not too huge or uncomfortable & not close to labor. Just remember to drink lots of water & keep food with you. Have fun!!

I am packing a refillable waterbottle, oranges, and granola bars ( I have gotten used to being able to eat as soon as I open my eyes ). I am also taking my most comfy shoes! Thanks for the encouraging words - it has helped ease some fears!

I made it through our trip. I had a good time and was into a "vacation routine" by day two! We got all of the business stuff done we needed to do and even had time to see a couple of museums! Not to mention getting to eat whatever I was craving at any moment - NYC really does have everything you could think of!

Sorry Diamond - Can't stand either one these days! I did get a lot of shrimp and chinese food though! And we found a great fondue place too.
