for two days i've been having these pains in my vagina that feels like so much pressure and i could feel it in my rectum.every 10 minutes it will feel heavier.with my first i wasn't having any pains at all, when i went for my regular appt i was 4 cm dialated at 42 weeks so the doc had to induce my labor that same day.i can't belive i wasn't feeling anything untill he induced me.i called the hospital and the nurse in delivery told me that if i see blood or the water breaks to come in and to drink plenty of water and i told her about the situation with my first and she said i should wait for contraction pains and count them because what i'm feeling could be the baby trying to come down and my cevix could be dialating.my question is has any one felt this vaginal pressure?

they could be contractions. Every woman feels contractions in different ways, even in different pregnancies. Good luck!

I had a similar situation with my first. I didn't feel anything and ended up dialated.

If it is that much pressure I would go and get checked. I mean you are technically due....

Hope you find out what is going on.

Good luck!
