Hi all! I'm new to this section, I currently post over at the May DDC....

I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was around 18...the endocrinologist found all the symptoms he needed to diagnose me..I had of course several cysts in my ovaries, but they never removed them, because they simply said they weren't cancerous. He then proceeded to tell me I was prolly infertile...which at 18 really broke my heart and basically wrote my death sentence for me...

well, 7 years later here I am -pregnant! I really never thought it would happen to me, because basically you believe anything a doctor tells u right? so I'm just introducing myself....

Welcome, our stories are similar. I was gave that infertility diagnosis at 19 and as told that if I wanted to have kids there are "treatments" I could take. Well, I was so angry.

I had my first son at 24 (he is now 7).

I am now pregnant with my second and it took 7 years but I refused all the meds. If it happened it happened and well, it happened obviously. My daughter is due in four and a half weeks.
