ok, so this is my first pregnancy, so I really don't know what to expect. i have had a stomach virus the last couple of days (which passed quickly thank goodness) but now today I have had an achey belly. Kinda like light cramps - is this normal? Will I just have achey days because things are growing, or should I be concerned? I haven't had any spotting, and the cramps have stayed light and been on and off again. Help!

Could be b/c of the virus, or sometimes you just get crampy when you're preg. As long as it's not severe and there are no other symptoms like fever or bleeding, you're most likely just fine.

You are near a point where there will be a growth spurt. If it gets worse or timable call the OBGYN. Otherwise bulk up on fluids and rest.

Good luck,
Celeste

IT'S PROBABLY NORMAL PAINS FROM PREGNANCY BUT YOU SHOULD TELL YOUR DOC.
I HOPE YOU FEEL BETTER SOON

Thanks for the advice! I am feeling a lot better - the cramps must have been a growth spurt. I was fine by the next day and they never got bad enough to warent calling the doctor. When I returned to work every said 'my you've grown!" - so I guess a growth spurt was right Thanks again!
