So Monday I went in for my last growth scan only to be told my fluid is low, I was told this 5 weeks ago. They weren't worried. Well I was sent over to L&D and the doc said, "they might enduce you today." Mentally I wasn't prepared but I went over and they checked, my bag of waters had not ruptured, NST looks good and they send me to get NST's done twice a week. Then later that day I ended up with stomach trouble, bowel issues.
I had gotten over the stomach flu last Monday so this Tuesday I was thinking where did that come from? I tried to drink but when I did it felt like razor blades through my stomach. I was walking with my husband and my bowels let loose. I literally pooed myself like 5 times. I had no control, just water pouring out my hiney. I went and napped and when I woke up I was in so much pain, so much that I called OBGYN for the second time and they told me to come in. I was there for 4 hours and pumped with 3 liters of fluids. I was released at 10pm. By 4am I was in so much pain my husband told me to call again, I had taken everything they said, Pepto, Pepcid, Tylenol, etc.... Nothing helped the pain in my stomach, I ended up sleeping on the toliet several times, afraid to move.
Finally, they told me it was okay to stop the loose bowels with Immodium. AT this point leaving the virus in my body by not clearing it out was safer then leaving me in that condition. I did and with in an hour I was at a managable state.
Today I still can't eat and drink with out pains in my stomach though they have lessoned. I am tired and fatiqued and have been having lots of contractions on and off.
After tomorrow's NST we will discuss the possibility of induction, some of the OBGYN's have mentioned it and other's haven't. I am so confused and at my last leg of frustration. Is her fluid low or not, should we take her out or leave her in? I am so unsure.
Alexanderia is still hanging out though and hopefully soon my stomach and bowels will be better and we will have more answers.
