Update on me!

Hey all. I have been so busy with work that I haven't had time to write. I guess I worked a little too hard because I ended up in L&D on Thursday in preterm labor. I woke up bleeding and having contractions and was dilated to 2cm when they finally checked me. I spent the night and after some drip, pain meds, and sleep everthing finally calmed down. I'm on bedrest for now and go back on Wednesday for a check up to see if anything has changed. I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow. My how time flies. I think I lost my mucous plug in the process. That was a new experience. Anyhow, glad to see you all are doing okay. Talk to you later.

Update from doctor's appt. today. I'm 3 cm and 80%. Looks like he'll be here within the next week.

Thanks for all the well wishes. I starting having pain Wednesday night at 10 o'clock. I was bleeding, more like a regular period this time, and went to the emergency room. When I got there, I was 5 cm dilated and having regular contractions. I got an epidural at 12 and delivered him at 5. It was so fast and a good delivery although it was painful in the beginning. We found out where the pain was coming from though. I had a marginal placental abruption. Not sure why, but that's what was happening. We are fine and came home on Sat. I got to have him with me for Easter and we are feeling very blessed.

Thanks guys. I am still amazed at how quickly you can go from pregnant and miserable to post partum and miserable. LOL He's a good baby. He sleeps most of the night and only gets up twice to eat and have a diaper change. We are in LOVE!!!! It was so worth everything that we went through to get pregnant. Thank you all for your support, prayers, and encouragement.
