I ordered a Starbunz diaper and bones Babylegs from them. Just over a week after I ordered, I got the Babylegs in the mail. Just the BLs with no explanation where the diaper was. I emailed Butt Chic to ask why I just got BLs and where the diaper was. She explained that she didn't have either in stock at her house, so she had them shipped separately from Babylegs & Starbunz, respectively. That was fine, but I wished that she had told me, since I was very confused. She said the Starbunz was on it's way too and to give it a bit longer. Fine.
After 2 weeks, I still hadn't gotten the Starbunz. I contacted the store and she never replied to me. I waited a few days to give her the benefit of the doubt, but still didn't hear anything so I sent a less-nice email to her. Not hateful, just clearly irritated. It was then that she responded and told me that the diaper is discontinued and she had contacted the owner of Starbunz wanting to know what to do. She hadn't heard back yet, and she would keep me informed. Again, fine. I wish she would have told me, but she didn't.
After DAYS of not hearing from her again I sent another not-so-nice email to her and she responded the next day. The owner of Starbunz couldn't find the diaper at any at any other vendors, so she decided to just make one especially for my order. It was mailed out Priority and arrived 2 days later.
The lady from Butt Chic felt really bad about it all and rectified it by refunding me $15, which I thought was really nice of her. I told her that I wasn't mad that it was delayed or that there were problems, just that she didn't stay in contact with me about it. Nonetheless, I got the monkey Starbunz for my little monkey and I got $15 back, so that's great by me.
I don't know if I'd recommend her or not. She doesn't have very good communication with her customers, so that is very irriating.
I know what you mean. It really pisses me off that you pay for a product and you dont get any clue of what is happening.
In Mexico we have only 3 online stores for cloth diapering, and all are not very efficiently, you have to chase them to know If they already send your package, or if they received the payment or whatever.
