I just had my daughter 7 weeks ago and I really always wanted to cloth diaper but when I was pregnant I researched it got overwhelmed and gave up. I did order two kawaii baby cloth diapers and JUST put her in one today. It seems bulky but I have read that all cloth diapers are bulky, it just seems really bulky i would be afraid to put a onsie on her cause it seems like it wont fit over the diaper.
Any who with cloth diapering how often do you change them? In the middle of the night I usually change her twice with disposables how many times if any would I change her at night? The diaper she has on is a pocket diaper and is really easy to figure out.
Do you ladies recommend any diapers that will grow with her until she is potty trained?
Hi and welcome!! You will probably get more replies you you post again on the main board.
One size diapers are pretty bulky until they get a little older/bigger. To cut down on the bulk you could try using a different kind of insert like hemp. If you want something less bulky that will fit for awhile I would recommend Thirsties Duo. The Duo one fits to about 18 lbs. My DD is 10 months and just outgrew hers. As far as other one size diapers, my favorite is BumGenius.
At night I don't change my daughter's diaper unless she poops. The Kawaiis should keep her skin nice and dry, you may just have to add a second insert.
Thank you Natalie (MrsStuartD) for my Beautiful Siggy!!!

I did not like OS on my daughter until this month (month 4), and am still not a big fan.
My overnight dipes are just whatever I throw together, differant inserts in a pocket, always more then one though. If it has a nice wicking inner, you should be good all night long!
