Blue Penguin SposoEasy AIO

I am so loving this diaper. It fits fabulously, very similar to a bumGenius. It's got the same soft PUL as our favorite pocket diapers - no crinkliness, no stiffness, just soft pliable softness on the outside. The inside is all cotton! Cotton terry inside cotton flannel, and so so soft. The only complaint I have is the waistband has a tendency to roll in and then the velcro strip rubs his tummy, I have to make sure it's pulled up right so that doesn't happen. But, I am loving this for 2 reasons:

1 - I want my son to toilet train soon, and with the stay-dry inner of the pockets and AIOs we have, he is not able to tell when he is wet, an important step in toilet training - with the flannel inner, he can feel the wetness - but trust me he is not uncomfortable - he woke wet but I didn't change him until after breakfast and he did not complain a bit - and no leaking either
2 - Washability! Cotton doesn't have the repelling and buildup issues that synthetics like microfibre have, so even though this is an AIO, it rinses clean and will not hold residue and get stinky - the laundering simplicity of a prefold, with the convenience of an AIO - love it

Here are some pics:

We got the Aplix closure version - there is also a snap version. See the lovely back elastic? Nothing getting past that, and it's so soft. Lovely soft gathered legs. This is the only diaper we have ever tried without leg casings that we didn't get wicking or leaks! This diaper hugs his legs but doesn't leave red marks

All flannel inside! Attached quick-dry soaker has cotton terry underneath. You can add a doubler under here if you like, and Blue Penguin makes one just like the attached soaker.

Stretchy side tabs! and washing tabs that hold

This goes on just like a disposable, and even kind of looks like an old school (before they added colors and pictures) Pampers diaper. So easy for hubby. In fact Sposo means "spouse" in Italian

Now for some action pics:

Look at this perfect fit - so comfy!

Gus is wearing a Large, with room (even in the rise) for him to grow some more. Which is awesome for us since he due to his special needs he is toilet train late and slow. We are very happy with our SposoEasy!

It also comes in Aqua, Butter and Lavender, both Aplix and Snap versions.
