I was just wondering how long your m/c took after you started to bleed red blood? That is if you did it natural. I have been cramping and lightly lightly spotting some browish stuff for 3 today but today I just had red blood when I went to the bathroom. Does it normally happen the same day or could it be awhile? Its been over 2 weeks since I found out and I am ready to get everything over with but I am scared too.

My loss was full term, so a little bit different. Have you checked out the miscarriage experiences subforum?

I hope that it goes quickly/smoothly for you.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I spotted brown blood for 4 days, then I started bleeding red blood. I bled for 8 days straight. This was with my second miscarriage. With my first miscarriage, I passed the baby the same day I started miscarrying, but the bleeding didn't stop. I bled for 5 days straight if I remember correctly. I'm sorry that you have to go through this. I'm hoping that everything will pick up and be over for you soon.

I bled bright red for 4 days and then it stopped completely, I have read that you can bleed for 2 weeks. If it gets to the point where you need to change your pad every hour then you need to go to the doctor. It's a horrible thing to go thru, when i heard that people had mc's i though it was over in a matter of hrs, Ignorance on my part, i had no idea that there was a constant reminder of the horrible thing that is happening all day for days. It's so cruel.
Keep positive though, I know that it is difficult. I can't say anything to make the pain any better, all I can tell you is that it does get better and you will get to a point when you feel normal again.
