My name is Melissa and I just had a miscarriage. I went in to see my doctor on Friday and we did an ultrasound which showed the baby did not have a heartbeat. On Monday my doctor did a D&C. I already have one child so I am blessed there but this miscarriage has been very difficult. What I find the most difficult is that at 7 1/2 weeks the baby had a heartbeat then when we went in at 11 weeks there was no heartbeat. My doctor said we could start trying again after 2 regular cycles which is what we plan on doing. I am just hoping to find some comfort from other ladies who have been through the same thing and I'm hoping that our next pregnancy results in a happy baby.

I am so sorry for your loss. It is so hard to understand why these things happen. This is a great place for support. We understand how hard it can be and how the emotions can just overtake you. Please post whatever you need to to help and poke around. We have a memorial list that you can add your angel to if you feel like it.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I too seen the baby's heartbeat at 6 weeks and at 10w4d I started bleeding heavily and miscarried (u/s confirmed no baby in the sac).

We're here if you need to vent or anything.

I'm so sorry! I had a similar experience - I went in for a 16 week checkup and we couldn't find the heartbeat. It is devastating! Take it easy and let your body and mind rest up. I'm also blessed to have another child and that helps, yet it's still so hard. Feel free to PM me if you want to chat.

I am so very sorry for your loss. It is awful to have heard/seen the HB and think everything is fine only to find out later that you have lost your LO... The hearbreak is unbearable & I am heartbroken that you had to experience that.
