Hey ladies, heres my story so far. I went in for a US at 8 weeks and there was a sac measuring 6 weeks but no baby and no fetal pole. They did a transvaginal and reg ultrasound that day. I had to go for 3 blood test and return to my doctor that next monday. So I go Monday , and the doc says its not looking good. My numbers for all 3 test (3 test in 5 days) were all in the 4,000 only going up a tinny tiny bit. So the doctor sets me up for another scan , the techs report says there was a "structure" in my uterus but no fetal pole, heartbeat , or yolk sac. Now at this point I am 9 weeks 4 days. I have had no spotting or cramping. I have had sore BBs this whole time, some m/s that wasn't bad , just occasional nausea and even less actual throwing up. I have been super tired and have gain 15 lbs ( I didn't gain early with either of my other pregnancies). I feel pregnant. I do. But I know those numbers are super super low, to low. So I know in my head that this pregnancy is not viable. But I really am just so confused. When I go back on Monday we will discuss my options. I really thought my body would have started doing something. My heart keeps telling me, maybe there is a chance the dr were wrong. But my brain knows they aren't. So can anyone tell me if I should just keep waiting for my body to start? How long could that take? I want to get this over with, Im really considering the D&C . Thanks for listening

I'm so, so sorry you're going through this.

I know lots of women opt for the D&C to get the physical part over with so they can move on to the emotional healing. You can still have pregnancy symptoms even if the pregnancy isn't viable. I was getting new symptoms as I was starting to miscarry.

Again, I'm so sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry your going through this. As Roybn said some women opt for the D&C and some wait it out. Sometimes your body just doesn't recognize what is going on. With my first loss I had the D&C and honestly for me it was better so that I could start healing emotionally. We are here for you.

Thank you ladies, I really appreciate it. I have started cramping alittle but then it goes away. And its mostly on my left side. Also has either of you ladies heard about pregnancy symptoms getting worse before a miscarriage starts. I only found one thing about it. But I tell ya my bbs have been overly sore since yesterday morning and I have been horribly nauseas . I read it one article ( i could only find the one) that symptoms may increase as things are breaking down and more hormones are released into your blood stream. Does this sound right to you guys?

That happened to me. My nausea kicked in badly the morning before I lost the baby.

I felt the same way. "I can't be losing the baby if I'm gaining symptoms, right?" Wrong

Hugs, I am so sorry. I didn't have any symptoms before I lost the baby. I opted for the D&C.
