First off, let me say I have major respect for any women that has went through a loss. I am in the process of my first miscarriage this week, I was around 6-7 weeks. This is the hardest thing that I have ever went through, and I just have a few questions....

Usually how long does the bleeding last? I have been bleeding since Monday night, huge clots, and cramps. I have no one to ask about this, and just was wondering how much longer of this I have to go through. This is so painful because I know it isn't a "real" period.

I'm so sorry for your loss. I was about 5 weeks with mine and the heaviest cramping and bleeding was on the first day. After that it was like a period for me. I know that it's heavier when you're further along, though. I'm so sorry you're having to go through this.

Hugs, I am so sorry. I was almost 10 weeks when I lost mine. I opted for a D&C, so I really don't know how long the bleeding lasts.

With my losses it has varied. The longest took around 2 weeks of bleeding. The first being extremely heavy and then a few days or medium/ then light and 2 days of spotting.

Just a reminder...if you soak more than 1 pad an hour go to the ER! I ended up hemorrhaging with my m/c and had to have an emergency D&C. I think it's pretty rare, but don't ignore really heavy bleeding like that (like I did at first).
So sorry for your loss...mine was 7 weeks too. You love them no matter how little they are. Hope this ends soon for you.
