Is it really bad that DH and I are just DTD - so soon, I had a natural miscarriage and doc didnt give me any warnings or restrictions-actually they said no need to come in, nurses said just to come in if bleeding got really bad or i had a fever. So I only bled until Sunday this past week and on Thursday we DTD. Last month was the first time we ever had unprotected sex and we got pregnant right away, but then we miscarried-I think we both figured we would wait the one cycle, but that isnt really what happened-or what we feel like doing. From what I hear it is more about the DATING that they want you to wait, but now I am nervous that MIGHt have done something stupid! I would really really love to be pregnant sooner than later-especially because I am older and I am a teacher and I WOULD much rather have morning sickness during summer break-then in september etc..

I’ve been googleing and looking into all kinds of medical books on how long you should wait, but it does seem to vary on where you look or who you talk to. I think the best information I’ve read is that your body won’t get pregnant if it’s not ready…so please don’t beat yourself up for being with your DH.

My doctor said to wait one cycle before TTC again and I've heard other say their doctor wanted them to wait several cycles. I think it depends on the doctor. I know some women who have gotten pregnant right away and have had their rainbow babies so I'm not sure that I believe it's necessarily a bad thing.

If you're worried that DTD caused another pregnancy, you should be okay. You won't ovulate until about 2 weeks after your hCG returns to 0.
