Have you always wanted to be a mom? for as long as I can remember it's all I've wanted. I've hated when people talk about me having a good career because the only career I have ever wanted was to be a SAHM. Would you have kept the gender a surprise or found out? (or did you?) we would have found out. Part of me wishes we'd gotten far enough along to have found out, but then I'm not sure if it would have made it harder.
Have you always wanted to be a mom? I always wanted to be a mom since I was a little girl. I wanted to be a young mom. I am very lucky because I get to stay home with my 3 girls.
Would you have kept the gender a surprise or found out? (or did you?) We would find out. With my first daughter, we found out, with my second, it was a surpirse and we found out with my third. My husband can't wait! It drives him crazy! LOL
I guess when I was little I had all sorts of aspirations...one year I was going to be a veterinarian when I grew up, the next time it was an engineer, then a firefighter, then I was going to build robots.
I think as I got older the desire to be a wife and mom did take over those dreams, but I also feel like I'd like to do something with myself other than just being a mom. I like being able to stay home with my little guy, he is precious and I don't want anyone else to raise him for me (as in daycare).
Anyway, I guess the answer to #1 is yes and no!
As far as gender, there is no way I could wait till the end to find out. I like to knit, and I would want to be able to make special little baby sweaters and booties and hats and stuff, and be able to make them gender-specific. It's much more fun than just making stuff white or yellow or green!
