Dh and I found out for sure last week that we lost our baby nearly 4 weeks ago. I chose to try medication to get the m/c started and finished the last pill (methergine) on Thursday, but I still have had no spotting just some mild cramping. Although this baby was not planned, we were really looking forward to adding to our family and would like to try again soon. Is there any way to get the miscarriage going? I don't want a D & C but I also don't want to wait for much longer It's too hard to walk around every day knowing that the baby I was starting to get excited about is no longer living inside of me
I am so sorry that you are going through this. I dont know if there is anything you can do. Can they try another medication? I hope you dont have to do the D&C. It was a very bad experience for me a couple of years ago. Praying for you honey.
Hi there, I'm hoping things hurry and work out for you. I'm going through a similar situation. I was diagnosed with a blighted ovum last Thursday after waiting a week for test results and a second ultrasound. I have been spotting brown for 2 weeks now, which prompted the first visit. I'm still off and on with the spotting but no progression to a miscarriage and I'm getting frustrated. My doc gave me Misoprostal to take buy after reading horror stories about the bleeding and cramping I'm reluctant to take it and trying to wait on a natural miscarriage. Good luck hun and I'm so sorry you are going through this.
