Anyone want to give me some pointers? I keep getting LO ideas where I want certain words to pop, but they're not things I can find anywhere else...and alphas are such a pain sometimes. Using Photoshop 7 here. Thanks!!

I just use my many different fonts, rasterize the type so that I can play around with textures, etc. I also sometimes add graphics (that I have drawn out and made myself) to give it a pop. Here's some examples of what I have made..

I made this word art to go with this LO that I did for my cousin's baby, who is more like a niece to me:

This is a LO I did of my birthday last year the "Birthday Girl" Word art was done by doing a simple rectangle fill and then I scalloped it with a paper shaper and then added the text. I just did a simple emboss on it.

This is actually the first page to the birthday LO. I did this word art by just selecting a font and then adding a simple texture to it.

Here is my most recent. It was a little more time consuming as I drew out the little graphics. I used Photoshop CS2 to make all of these and it's pretty much very similar to Photoshop 7. I find it helpful to google search tutorials, that's how I got started.
