Step 7.
Duplicate your "Main" layer. And make it your top most layer. (It will auto name it "Main Copy")
Set it as follows:

It's VERY easy for me to follow! I don't use some of these options when editing, and I should, so it's nice to be able to follow everything they do, you know?

BTW, Natalie, you need a new siggy! You've had that one FOREVER!

Your photo should look like this:

Save your image and size it for web and please share your results with us! If I did well all the photos should look the same

So glad you could make it! And yes there's one more session on eye brightening and proper black and white edits if you can stick around

Is it just me or does mine look a little more "faded" than yours?

It does look more faded. I saved it for web at 300dpi though and at a high setting because I have no limits with my web hosting like photobucket does. Does your main image in photoshop look the same?

You were able to do the levels though?? That's the most important one (step 1). Your version may not support exposure settings and it's ok then to skip this step and move on. It won't make that big of a difference in your end result.

Yes, I could because I used your quick key instead of going through the menu!

Thankfully this again is a VERY mild change. And is only here so that people know where to find it and how to use it. You can still get a great result without doing this step. I'm going to look up your version of photoshop though and see if I can't help you figure out how to do it. Just continue and I'll see what I can find

OK I looked it up and I'm guessing it can be done in your program because I found it can be done in version 3 or earlier. Here's the link for that: Adjusting Color Balance in Photoshop Elements

Maybe that can help you figure it out?
