Sounds like a children's book, huh? We went to the ped yesterday and they used silver nitrate on his gooey, icky belly button. Poor guy. I know he doesn't feel it, but, yuck. Hopefully it will dry up and heal now. It may need two treatments. Oh, and he's a whopping 9 pounds! Finally, he's regained the weight he lost and passed his birth weight!

it does sound like a children's book ! lol

are they having you swap it with alcohol wipes too? that dries it up also. that is the only thing I did with Katie's....just a little dabbing on and around it...
it was off in less than 10 days.

Belly buttons are ICKY! I would never touch any of my kids.... that was daddy's job

Matthew's fell off at like 11 days if I remember right.

If you would like to see pictures of my sweet (but tiny) boy they can be viewed at www.caringbridge.org/visit/noahdarrohn they aren't the easiest pictures to look at but I am willing to share them with anyone who would like to see them <3
On August 2, 2012 we lost Sarah at 17 weeks. She was our 8th loss Her pictures can be viewed at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/sarahdarrohn

I was told to wipe it with alcohol and it did dry out and fell in no time.
It does sound like a children book
