Oh my gosh! We have never had so many sicknesses in this house! Let's see...Robbie had that whole strep thing. Then Thomas had what we tought was H1N1 but it turned out to be croup. (That was about 2 wks ago) Last week Joey was home 2 days. Yesterday Thomas was home after having a fever this weekend. And, today I got a call from school that ROBBIE was in the office! He said his stomach hurt. I'm such a bad mom. I kind of didn't believe that he was sick. I thought he just wanted to come home from school. I had them keep him in the health room for a while to see if he felt better. He claimed he didn't and I headed to school. I picked him up, got home with him, and....WHAM! He ran to the bathroom and started throwing up. Poor little guy! I feel so bad I didn't believe him. Well, needless to say, he'll be home tomorrow.
This is crazy! We leave for Disney in a few weeks. Everyone needs to be healthy! I hope Max and I (and Pete) escape getting sick. (knocking on wood) The weird thing is that they aren't getting sick with the same symptoms! This is the first year we all got the flu shot (and we also got the H1N1 vaccination) and we have never been sicker. <----some of the many emotions I'm feeling!
Oh no Kelty I'm sorry. I'm sorry for you that the kids have been sick so much lately, and the weird part is that it's not the same thing, I would assume that one gets sicks, passes it on to the other and so on. I hope that you and Max stay healthy. How is the little guy doing? When are you going to post some pictures?
I know that feeling. Viruses can do such weird things. The summer before last, Cori had some type of crazy virus that seemed to be cyclic....high fever (really high a couple of times), vomiting, lethargy....then fine for a few days....then it would start over. They tested her for everything under the sun. We still don't know what it was, the docs finally just said, "a virus of some type". I remember being so frustrated.
I'm so glad to hear that baby Max hasn't gotten sick, though! Hang in there!
