Hello, am new to justmommies. I just need some encouragement. I had a miscarriage, then my son who is now 5, then about 5 more miscarriages. I just found out I am just barely pregnant again. My last miscarriage was in july of this year and when I had that one (and the last 3 for that matter) my hcg levels were low and the doctor told me he thought my progesterone was low and that is why I kept having mc's. So this time he did a blood serum hcg test again. I was late nov 17th, he tested me nov 20th and my hcg was at 33.9 I have to get another done today. ( he said 33.9 was ok he thought, because i took my first pos hpt on the 19th and it was very faint. he said that sounded about right cause they don't come up positive till your hcg is 25 i guess.) Anyhow, he tested my progesterone and gave me prometrium to take, and today I will find out if progesterone really is the problem. Enough ranting I guess.......I am so NERVOUS about miscarrying this one too. If I do this will be my 3rd in 8 months. Has anyone had the progesterone and low hcg problem and had a successful pregnancy? It would make me feel better I think if someone has!
Thanks
shaleen

hi and welcome to the board....
I think quite a few of our ladies have had low progesterone and had healthy babies.
I can understand about being nervous. PAL is very nerve racking !!
I am glad you found us here. Lots of support and encouragement to go around!!
you may want to post on the main board though. That is where our expecting mommies are...although the grads do post there too at times.

sending you lots of sticky baby dust !!
oh and most of all....Congratulations !!!!!
