So DH wants to lose weight and I am trying to be supportive and helpful. I can help him eat healthier, but can't exactly "diet" with him because I am breastfeeding. I am currently eating like a horse and staying about the same. So I get this crazy idea that if he will do the 1/2 marathon near his parent's house in April, then I will too. I even come up with a training schedule that will work. DH says, "its a deal!" Even though I play sports like softball and football, it has been about 9 years since I've really done much jogging. And I'm not sure if I've ever run more than 4 miles or so. (DH is more overweight, but has been jogging on and off for the last few years) I just got back from my first two miles and feel like I might die. Partly because it is 25 degrees outside and my lungs hurt from the cold, but still....wth was I thinking? He better appreciate me for this!
