Well.....He developed a fever today.....although it is low....99.6 under the arm.....I think I am going to wait and see if it gets higher or not. UGH! We used the nebulizer on him tonight to see if that would help with his congestion and it made him HYPER!!!! He was going crazy and trying to get into everything.

Oh yes, I used to have to give my nephew albuterol with a nebulizer and he would bounce off the walls. I hope his fever stays down.

Sam,

I am sorry to hear Cecil is sick
the nebulizer does that to Katie too....
so far no ear infections here, so I do not have much advice....
maybe try putting cotton in his ears when he gets a bath to keep water out reducing the chances...I did that w/ Katie when she was a newborn since I was so paranoid!
have you tried just a cool mist vaporizer and Vicks baby rub on his chest? it has worked wonders here, and no bouncing off the walls...also, here is a link for some natural cough and cold meds for kids Hyland's Homeopathic - Cold and Cough for Kids
We use sooo many of their products, love all of them
....I am not real fond of all the meds dr.'s want to give out all of the time

..hang in there mama!
and KUP !

Also, I'm sure you've read this, but try to keep him more upright when drinking his bottle. If they lay down and drink, the milk can run up into their Eustachian tubes more easily.

Thanks Kelly and Dee.....

Kelly, We are somewhat back to breastfeeding, and only giving forumula at Daycare. Because of the cost of the formula, we decided to gradually re-introduce Breastmilk to see if he had a problem with his digestion, and he is doing good. I also supplement with formula at dinner time by giving him the neutramagin forumla in a cup - He loves it I think because we drink milk at dinner and he loves doing anything that we do.

Cecil woke-up today with no fever, so hopefully today he will be feeling better. Last night he was so tuckered out that he just laid in my arms and let me read story after story to him and he didn't even try to eat the books once - and for a 10 month old, that is saying something.
